Moody Tulsa, Oklahoma Summer Wedding at Mountain Crest Venue
There is something special about the Tulsa wedding industry. Over a holiday weekend, I received a call around 1:00PM from a family member of a couple whose venue was without power and water after a severe summer storm. They were asking if we had last minute availability for a wedding. Once I found out who the planner was, Sarah with Bee Balanced Events, I called her and asked logistics and details to make sure we would be able to accommodate and by 3:00PM, we had every Tulsa wedding professional hired for that wedding inside of our facility as our set-up crew came last minute to breakdown the current floor plan that was inside the facility, remove all tables and chairs since this client had rented all outside furniture, freshly trim the grass around the ceremony area, blow off porches and sidewalks and set up chairs. Normally a task that takes a full day was completed in 2 hours.
Then every wedding professional from the owner of Party Pro Rents, to myself and even the photographers were placing linens, the table settings and napkins while the bride and groom were making final last minute arrangements with their guests regarding the location change.
By 6:00PM, the ceremony started and guests and the couple were able to settle into celebrating the best day of their lives in spite of the circumstances.
